The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division has scheduled an exciting educational forum for November 6th taking place in Concord, NH. High-level leadership of the Federal Wage and Hour Division from Washington D.C. will be coming to New Hampshire to speak on updates regarding Wage and Hour nationally, as well as the US DOL District Director for Northern New England, and NH DOL WHD Administrator Michele Small. Additionally, Scott Cotnoir, Director of Maine Wage and Hour, will also be present. To learn more visit: https://www.dol.gov/newsroom/releases/whd/whd20181024-0.
The event is free, but space is limited, so attendees must register to obtain tickets to the event: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/educational-forum-with-us-dept-of-labor-and-nh-dept-of-labor-tickets-51419684661
In addition to being very informative, the forum should be a great networking opportunity as the event is being promoted by NH DOL, the HR State Council of NH, SHRM, and the Small Business Administration. It is a rare occurrence for high level leadership from D.C. to come visit us locally, and even more rare to have leaders from NH DOL, Maine DOL, and Federal DOL all present at the same time.
