Please join us at this free, open, virtual meeting for our members, the HR community at-large and interested business & nonprofit professionals to understand the value and commitment HRAGC makes to the HR profession. We will be celebrating HRAGC; its impact, value, and commitment to being:

  • Informed
  • Connected
  • Influential

Whether you are an HR department of one, an office manager, a member of an HR team in a small/medium size organization or part of an HR department in a large organization, HRAGC provides great value and benefit to its members. COVID-19 highlighted the value and import of HR to any organization. Our members were intimately involved in addressing the constantly changing regulations and guidelines, ensuring employees were safe and had the necessary tools to continue work onsite, remotely, or utilizing an alternative workplan. Navigating the laws, regulations, emotions, childcare, school decisions, and other uncharted territory underscored the value HRAGC provided its members. The network of members was able to benefit from legal updates and considerations, opportunities to connect with other HR professionals and discuss approaches to various CDC requirements, formulating new policies regarding vaccination crafted so that exceptions could be considered, and relevant & current programs that connected to what was being experienced in the workplace and some strategies to deal with them. Programs were created to provide insight on key issues related to the HR functions and discussion of strategies and best practices in executing them: HR Strategy, Leadership & Navigation, Talent Management, Training & Development, Employee Engagement & Retention, Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits), Labor Relations, Risk Management, Technology Management, CSR, Organizational Communication, Ethical Practices, & Critical Evaluation.

MISSION: HRAGC is committed to strengthen, influence, and lead organizations by shaping, developing, and advancing the human resource profession through our members, colleagues, and the community.

We accomplish this through our programming, committee work and experience, board leadership, providing access to SHRM Certification preparation, working in collaboration with community projects, internal and external communication, legal awareness and advocacy, as well as informal mentorships.

Additionally, we will be presenting the 2022 HRAGC Impact Award to a current member.  To be eligible for the award, the nominee must be an individual, current HRAGC member in good standing, champion of the HRAGC mission, and not currently serving on the board. The individual must have volunteered their time on a committee, as a presenter, or participated in a special project to benefit HRAGC.

PRESENTERS:

Elena Preston, HRAGC President, Grant Wege, HRAGC Vice President, with assistance from HRAGC Members.

Please note, this is a one hour event and there are no recertification credits associated with the event.
