Description
Organizational change is hard; preparing for and executing change in an organization creates a unique dynamic. When initiating or further developing a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I) program to enhance an organization’s viability, many challenges await. For instance, to create a successful DE&I program, the organization needs to adopt a clear definition of DE&I as it relates to the organization and its work environment. The DE&I initiative also requires a clear understanding of the various constituencies and sectors in the organization and needs to be integrated into the enterprise’s overall strategy with measurement criteria and assessments defined.
Join us for this timely and compelling program and learn from:
- two senior HR professionals, one from the public sector and the other from the private sector,
- a seasoned Chief Diversity Officer from the healthcare sector, and
- two award-winning D,E & I organizational consultants.
Each panelist will discuss how they have (or are) navigate/ing the process. Additionally, they will provide important insights; such as: how they created DE&I metrics, garnering support, crafting/delivering regular communications updates to the organization, etc.
OUTCOMES
Participants will:
- gain a greater understanding of the recommended approaches and techniques for developing an inclusive workplace environment.
- realize a heightened sensitivity to the characteristics of a dynamic workforce (for example multi-cultural, multi-lingual, multi-talented, multi-gendered)
- be able to identify critical factors for checkpoints/scorecard to reflect progress and gaps (Points of Emphasis)
