DESCRIPTION

We can all agree we are operating in unprecedented times. Since the transition in USA Federal administration, decisions and actions have had immediate and long-term ramifications for our businesses and organizations. The early decisions requiring businesses to reforecast business models, consider the impact on global partnerships, and navigating the potential risks. As time has passed and more actions have been taken, the importance of businesses to be resilient and agile while employing positive change management techniques has been critical.

The level of uncertainty and the yoyo effect of decisions have made it challenging to navigate. Our three subject matter experts will discuss how rethinking their business models, adjusting and adapting their forecasting (both financial and talent management perspectives) have been tested. The direct and indirect impacts, along with unintended consequences, have pushed employers to reconsider past practices. Our panelists represent three distinct industries all of which have global components – high tech manufacturing, currency production, and hospitality.

OUTCOMES

This program will provide HR professionals with a better understanding of:

  • The import of staying current of the changing external environment; identifying credible and relevant external information.
  • The challenges that are associated with maintaining employee engagement and assessing future staffing effectiveness.
  • The relationship of various stakeholders that are affected by business strategy.
